Greetings Current and Future CEAT Members!

We hope you are all doing well in your respective cities. Our 39 th Annual Business and Education Conference in South Padre Island early this month was AWESOME! There were over 200 people in attendance and over 100 cities represented. Thank you to the City of South Padre for an eventful conference. For those that were unable to attended, we missed you and hope you can make to the next one in Garland (it will be our 40th). A few updates after conference.

Congratulations to our Reggie Jackson Officer of the Year, Ms. Denise Hastings (City of San Antonio), Our Community Service Award Winner the City of Schertz, and Our Charles W. Daniels Scholarship Award Recipients Kylen D. Johnson (City of Beaumont) and Dezirae Veulman (City of Coppell). We would also like to welcome the newest member of the Executive Board. Our 1st Vice President, Ms. Patricia Perez (City of Austin) and thank Mr. Neely Blackman (City of De Soto) for all his work and contribution.

CEAT will continue to work on providing regional trainings throughout the year to assist current (and future) members in getting their continuing education hours. If you are not a CEAT member, we encourage you to become part of our association. Membership payments maybe made online at our website (www.ceat.us ) and run from October to September. The Code Enforcement Association of Texas will continue to provide a sense of community and fellowship to those in need. Let’s all pass it along.
